You will love the all the walks and looking for platypus.
Rose Gums is situated 720 meters above sea level and experiences a rather cool winter. Even in Summer the evenings can become cool, so do bring some warmer clothing.
Winter temperatures can sometimes drop to 6 degrees overnight and 17 degrees during the day.
Summer temperatures are usually 3 degrees cooler than the coast and sometimes a maximum of 28 degrees during the day with little humidity.
The bird life is abundant. There is a bird guide book in your accommodation and a birding CD with birding information is available at reception. Please see our bird watching page for bird list and further information.
Fully equipped kitchens are in all accommodation for those who wish to self-cater. However, if you prefer not to cook, we are pleased to offer a selection of chef prepared meals from our In-house Dining Menu. These meals can be pre-ordered prior to arrival and will be waiting for you in your accommodation.
