Mareeba Golf Course (Eastern Grey Kangaroo)

Located this side of Mareeba, for a nominal fee, the golf club offers visitors the opportunity to view a large mob of Eastern Grey kangaroos in their natural habitat.

Mareeba Wetlands (Emu)

The 2000ha reserve of open savanna woodland, grassland and freshwater wetlands provides a unique setting for visitors to enjoy the outback environment and abundant wildlife. The Interpretive Centre offers a viewing deck over Clancy´s Lagoon and a reference library and information on current conservation projects.

Granite Gorge

South of Mareeba, Granite Gorge is a welcome surprise. It has dramatically shaped granite boulders that create a breathtaking stone wilderness home to the endemic Mareeba Rock-Wallaby.
