Clothing - Rose Gums is situated 720 meters above sea level and experiences a rather cool winter. Even in Summer the evenings can become cool, so do bring some warmer clothing.

Winter temperatures can sometimes drop to 6 degrees overnight and 17 degrees during the day.

Summer temperatures are usually 3 degrees cooler than the coast and sometimes a maximum of 28 degrees during the day with little humidity.

Binoculars - The bird life is abundant.

Groceries - Fully equipped kitchens are in all accommodation.
