"What a great place, isolated yet not too far away from 'civilisation'. Memories of sitting on the veranda listening to the rainforest will stay with me forever. Manager is great, very helpful at all times. Local wildlife is amazing. The lodges are very well appointed and we really could not have asked for more."

"The wood fireplace was a highlight along with bathtub with an outside view. Great views from the balcony and the surrounding areas. Walking track to the waterfall was a great adventure. Well equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking hot meals and drinks. First day breakfast cereals and bread was provided."

"As a birdwatcher I chose to stay here to search for some new species. Their website has a very detailed list of species including the most likely months to see them. The owner of Rose Gums is a very intelligent birdlover and hands-on operator of her exceptional place. She met me on arrival and provided maps and made notes about where and how to locate my target species. She not only provides food for a morning crowd of lorikeets but gives a really interesting talk about them as they feed."

"Peaceful and beautiful with amazing sunrises, and birdlife literally right outside your window. Peta and her staff are extremely welcoming and helpful; their local and wildlife knowledge helped to make our stay even better. The accommodation is spacious and so private we only saw other visitors in the reception area. This truly is a magical place and is somewhere we will never forget."

"We stayed for 3 nights for our honeymoon. Guest have their own tree lodge house (complete with useful washer/dryer) with AMAZING view over the rainforest canopy. You feel like no one is around for miles. Listening to the sounds of the rainforest is very relaxing. The breakfast hamper (free) is well thought through and lasts for 2 days. The 8am bird feeding and musky kangaroo watch is brilliant, very informative. An unforgettable experience. I would love to return one day."
